PMLN should have supported PPP's policies in dealing with militancy openly and not stayed quiet. They will now suffer the consequences. Had they showed solidarity then more and more people would have thought the militants are in the wrong. The ANP and PPP have lost a lot but it will be PMLN's turn now. They wont get away with it.

They are in bed with LeJ, LeT, SSP etc, how have they supported anyone against them?

Meanwhile, a senior Taliban leader confirmed that initial contacts between the militants and the government had been made. He told the BBC Urdu Service that the talks encompassing a wide range of issues including prevention of sectarian violence and snapping of ties with Al Qaeda and Lashkar-e-Jhangvi had been held.
