the americans are also killing them on an uninterrupted basis. the reality is that terrorists can also hold some cards. it is possible to simultaneously kill them and acknowledge the card game.
what double standard? talking to terrorists is vastly different from duplicitously aiding/arming/funding them against an ally after assigning “good taliban”/“bad taliban” labels due to some perverse and unintelligent proxy strategy devised by the pak military.
