He is reported to be the right hand man of Baitullah Mehsud, hosted him for treatment etc. and then he gets released on bail for a surety bond of Rs 30,000! As TTP is believed to be agents of India/Israel/USA, this Hindu/Jew/Christian agent is shown some absurd leniency!
****KARACHI: Karachi’s Crime Investigation Department (CID) police arrested on Tuesday suspected Taliban commander Fazal Mehsud from the Kemari area in Karachi.
Weapons were also seized from his possession.
According to Senior Superintendent Police (SSP) CID Operations Fayyaz Khan, Mehsud was associated with the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan faction.
The alleged Taliban commander was a close associate of the head of Tehree-e-Taliban Pakistan Baitullah Mehsud and Commander Faiz Muhammad.
SSP Fayyaz Khan said that during interrogation, the suspect revealed that Baitullah Mehsud had visited Karachi a few years ago for treatment.
He also claimed that Baitullah Mehsud stayed with him at his residence in Karachi.
According to CID police, the suspect is also involved in fund raising for Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan and other terrorist activities in Waziristan.
Earlier this month, with the help of an informant, the anti-extremism cell of the Crime Investigation Department arrested seven suspects belonging to different banned outfits and gangs.
But then CID is also a joke. If he is released then there must be no proof or very weak proof. Just Mahsood does not mean that he is terrorist. My friend's last name is also Mahsaood, he is senior government official:)

Somehow many guppies think that you know urdu very well, but from above quote it seems like as if you could not read the news in Urdu and when you post any news about Pak, you write your opinion in nastalleq urdu making everyone believe that you are Urdu/Muslim back ground......whatsup with that?

Did u note that they released him within few hours of arrest!! how they get evidence of any involvement while there is no remand no police custody. there must be another game behind it.
I do not believe on this news, some where is something wrong here. do you know how our police works?
Once they arrested someone for terrorism related crime they would not produce him in court immoderately, mostly the person has been picked unofficially if he found to be really involve in something they would bring Other security agencies.
During this process which could take days or months (depending on his involvement) they would not acknowledge him to in their custody.
If he really quickly produced in the court and offered bail, means police has nothing on him (and they believe this guy really innocent) thus they do not want him in the custody as well (otherwise it is very easy for police the charge him and seek remand for further investigation).
