Islamabad: It has been announced by Umar Khalid Khurasani, the ameer of the Mohmand Agency chapter of the Tehrik e Taliban Pakistan (TTP) that the time period of ceasefire would not be extended. He said the war will start again now. He added that the Government violated the commitments during the ceasefire. Forces and all influencial sectors in the country want to wage war, he said. He also commented: Musharraf’s issue would not be resolved by removing his name from the ECL. While commenting on T20 World Cup he said, Pakistan lost the match since Allah left the nation to sulk.

Snow is melting, mountains should be easy to cross now...high command will move to Kabul reinforcements from Punjab and other parts of the country are on standby since the ceasefire...and after the break we are still the victim

cease fire or no cease fire, snow is melting, army can move easily, so easy logistics and then they shall either be killed or forced to leave Pakistan ( primary target of the operation is to shift all terror training centers out of Pakistan so that we can be called victim rather supporter)

Differences between the TTP and TTP Mohmand is growing by the day. Yesterday's statement by Umar Khorasani was different from the views of Shahidullah Shahid. I hope government is carefully looking for any possible fissures among them.

All is not well inside the TTP for sure. Mullah Radio cannot afford to be in Waziristan personally and his absence does not seem to auger well for his position. His acceptability as the head of TTP still remains slightly unconvincing because of non-Mehsud background. Khalid Khurasai seems to be vying for the top position of the TTP and it’s only a matter of time before the struggle for power comes to the fore.
