Soo like some of u might know..m we have green signal for ttc… Now my grandmother was tellin me that i shouldn’t travel to much… And specially not on the ‘pahari ilakey’ cuz that can loosen everythin nmay effect the start of pregnancy…or even implant…
My sis is a doc and she says its rubbish and not to believe it…but granny had given some examples of ppl who had somethin like this…
So my question s…how serious should i take this?.. I mean pk s bumpy overall… So i shouldn’t travel?.. Or is it just another myth?
unless you are climbing mount Everest on foot, there is nothing to worry about for implantation in the uterus.
It’s a good idea to take it easy for the first 8-10 weeks with strenuous exercise or heavy lifting all of that is AFTER implantation. Exercise does not effect implantation in any way. If you are upright or hanging upside down, it will happen.
Start with your prenatal, folic acid, charting out ovulation dates that’s more important for ttc, Otherwise live your life.
^karachi to lahore by road???
this can be done but you need to take breaks…you wont be able to sit for that long in car…
for murree same…take rest like after an hour of walk…
my cousin was 5months preggers and she pretty much walked throughout in murree BUT with breaks, she took rest…drank water…juices, ate something…
traveling with a baby, u gotta be kidding, it is better to go on such a road trip without babies.
well anyway, you are NOT even pregnant yet, hellloooooooo! go on the trip and have fun. I was pregnant with a baby in pak on these bumpy roads and nothing happened.
If it’s relevant, the day i had an embryo transfered to me, we asked the nurse and doc if i should go home and lay down and stay on the bed for a few days. She told me that i could jump on a trampoline all day and it wouldn’t fall out. You just have to make sure your body temperture doesn’t go high, like a fever or strenuous exercise.
The road from Karachi to Lahore is super messed up now. I would recommend listening to granny on this count then. You haven’t seen messed up roads till you see those in Pakistan. We have a very loose definition of “road”
