In my opinion for most muslims it was a pretty bad idea already to go through a scanner that showed their privates with quite a bit of form and detail. It violates the basic tenet of modesty and haya. Thankfully there was the PAT DOWN option. But now the pat down is going too far as well. The new groping is even causing concern in Non Muslims.
So what next? If some whacko decides to stick something up their behind..will we all next to bend over and get ready for something of a Prostate exam…

Yesterday I was listening to National Public Radio on Talk of the nation with Neal conan and most caller were objecting to the ludicrousness of this whole thing.

I heard that even one of the congressman or senator when subjected to the PAT down realized what a big concern this is.
But on the other side let me ask you this, how else can TSA prevent someone from smuggling an explosive device by having a small one up his butt. Instead of just criticizing, we should be offering alternatives if we do not like this procedure.

Did you read the link I put in the post for Opt out? It shows what we are going to be facing.
Its not just a mere PAT down any more. I do a lot of air travel. And in the rare occasions that I had to go for a PAT down, it was a NON issue. But not any more. Now its going to be more like groping and fondling.

The alternative?
Well is that really a Citizens job or is it the job of the ones spending Billions on the new Security industry which raced to the TOP right after 9/11?
The alternative could be an ENHANCED imaging device that separates human flesh from FOREIGN OBJECTS that may be hidden underneath the clothing. and then only that FOREIGN OBJECT SHOULD BE SEEN! not the contour of the WHOLE BODY…
So simply advaced SOFTWARE that hides the body and shows other things after the person is scanned. Then you don’t need this GROPING PAT DOWNS…
I mean a very valid argument is “what if someone digests explosives the size of Pills because they are on a suicide mission and they can detonate them just by sending a signal from their PDA/SMART PHONE APPLICATION - VERY POSSIBLE IN TODAYS WORLD OF TECHNOLOGY” the scanner nor the PAT down will catch it!

I am quiting my job and going to apply for TSA at JFK! This job has many benefits, fondling good looking woman being one. Once hired, i will also suggest to my supervisor/TSA that we should also check female breast by hand to make sure that they are real and not phoney( who knows they might have TNT implants)

Last time I travelled in the US I had to go through the enhanced pat down. I think it was because of my moobs, they couldn’t wait to get their hands on those
