Trying to get a copy of degree from Sir Syed University

My husband misplaced his undergrad degree and he has been trying to get a copy from Sir Syed University for the past 2 months. They seem to not be really helping him! He has paid the lost fee, given a lost ad in the newspaper etc, but nothing is moving forward. He has to travel in a few weeks and wont be able to go back to Pakistan for a while.

Why are they so incompetent?! Isn’t two months sufficient time to be able to get a copy? They seem to not be very helpful every time my husband goes there.

unfortunately, it looks like u need to 'grease up the palm' of the clerk who will do the paperwork at the Registrar's Office.

Re: Trying to get a copy of degree from Sir Syed University

That’s what I told my husband but he thinks its not necessary. He needs to travel and we don’t have time for lazy clerks. How much should be greased :hehe:

Clerk should be paid some money and the next day your husband will get the degree :hehe:

…even if he never went to sir syed university.

But he has to you cant get the degree just by staying home you have to submit the application form by your self

lol…how come your hubby, who lives in Pakistan, doesn’t know how to deal with baaboos in offices? :cb:

i think Rs. 500 should be enuf [Indian rate Rs. 100] Pakistan’s living standards are higher so it costs more to ‘grease his/her palm’
