Has he agreed to do them? I've heard so many stories where the husband is totally against testing himself but will let his wife go through hell from relatives and let her take the blame. My own cousin is going through this problem. Her MIL sends her to wierd homeopath docs and peers and darbaars, but her husband refuses to be tested. I was lucky enough that my husband is not like this, and has done everything he could possibly do. He has gone through hell for our ICSI procedure. Some women always say that men have no idea about the pain and suffering of a pregnancy, but he has gone through equal pain.. in my opinion that is.

Ofcourse, My hubby is very co-operative, in every manner, infact he said himself that I should be given some tests too… I am really blessed. I feel sorry for your relative, may Allah solve her problems and bless her with aulad-e-nareena! Amen :slight_smile:

So my phupho went to Hajj on the weekend. An old aunty that knows i am ttc, told me to call my phupho and tell her to bring me 49 seeds of "joh"... the inside of the seeds that the kabutars leave behind at hajj. She said have seven seeds for 7 days, and that will get me pregnant. I've never heard of this before, and i hate putting my iman into something that may just be superstition or an old wives tale. Anyone ever heard of it?

^ yes i have heard of it, someone brought it back for me, and it was wrapped in tissue, when i got it, it had small creepy crawlies running around, nevertheless i threw it away.

Not something i believe in, but MIL was told by someone that it "works" old wives tales if you ask me

We need a thread on old wives' tales and superstitions on getting pregnant..

Someone told me in sindh there is a darbar called Sevan Sharif. In the dirt there, there is little seeds like pearls , and i should eat those daily

Doc said that after the meds that i am takin now…my monthly flow will get normal and inshallah from than we can try to conceive…
