trying out tribal lament on violin

i don’t know how it’s gonna sound…

Re: trying out tribal lament on violin

sounds good. I am really impressed that a desi chick is studying the violin, very very cool.

Re: trying out tribal lament on violin

^lol...thanks but I think I still need a lot of practice to get this tune right. With kids around I get very little time for learning it.

Re: trying out tribal lament on violin

Nice.

Keep it up.

Re: trying out tribal lament on violin

sounds great

Re: trying out tribal lament on violin

^awww you think so? Thanks a lot.

Thanks Monk. Violin is the most difficult musical instrument and even more difficult for people with smaller hands. :-(

Re: trying out tribal lament on violin

^sure i do.playing a violin is all about controlling fingers and placing them over appropriate spots and is related to drawing in some way if u know what i mean and improvement does follows after every few weeks.
voilin stick has fascinated me since i was a kid in school watching my music teacher play moving it over the voilin and shaking his head.

Re: trying out tribal lament on violin

^That's true, using left hand on appropriate spots and with right distance is the key but the bow comes with its own set of rules which are quite strict too.

Re: trying out tribal lament on violin

^sure moving the bow over the vilion could be for increasing or decreasing tempo or beat although i think there is not beat in violin.
