Trusting people with doing your makeup

We’re all different people in our own way. What one person likes, the other may not and vice versa. Would you be comfortable with someone doing your makeup or are you content with your own skills? Are you a fussy character when it comes to makeup?

Hmm, If I LIKE the way someone does their own makeup, I would feel more comfortable in letting that person apply makeup on me. If the person also has a similar skin tone as me, that leads to greater comfort.

I think if I'd be fussy about something, it would be eyeliner. I've received several compliments on my eyeliner because I apply it close to the lash line so it gives a more natural look. I don't think I'd feel comfortable letting someone who usually applies it heavy/super thick to apply it on me. I think that's the only thing I'd be particular about.

I am not very fussy about letting someone do my makeup .. but its important that I have seen their work before ... Because different people have different skills , some are very good with the eyes but pathetic at choosing the right foundation colors ... so its really hard to trust someone .. but once I do trust someone , then i let them do their job :@:

For me; I'm not the best of makeup appliers, I must admit...therefore I tend to have more trust in others to do my makeup. Obviously a trained artist. Though, if I'm honest...I'm not always best pleased with the results.

there r certain features that only u know about if u know what i mean..i dont mind someone else with expertise in makeup field to do my eyes but im fussy about lips

I'm quite fussy and will always do my own make up (I don't know if I will be able to trust anyone to do my bridal make up as I don't 'love' other peoples work that much and can't justify spending that kind of money on something I know I could have done better myself.)

I get asked to do other peoples make up a lot for occasions - my sis in law, cousins, sister, friends etc.

I'm the same I feel if someone does my makeup I won't like it at all unless they're really good at what they do. I just haven't come across an amazing mua locally yet...

I cannot do makeup to save my life :( so, I have to rely on MUAs and like you MKD, still haven't found anyone to rave about. :(

I feel there’s nothing better in the world then one doing one’s own makeup .. coz you would know your features really well and practice will ultimately give you the perfection …

The positive side of getting a MUA to do the makeup is tht you can learn how certain style will look on you and then with practice you can achieve it soon … This time when i went Pakistan , I liked this local lady who does fab eye shadows … I got her to do my eyes up for 50 Rs …:cb: … later I practiced it and now I am good at it with different colors … :lifey:
