i've done fastish dandiya dances to:

dhol baje (three or four different dances have looked great with this)
ban than chali
nach baliye

there's this song girls do the luddi on, it goes something like this "aanchal mein chand hoga, something mein chandi" i find that song so annoying..but some people like it.

yeh thats the version of lathey di chadar that i was talking about..as for peer manava the remix version is faster- i prefer that one...

marwah- i hate that song to! its from the film khoobsurat

another luddi song we used was chann mere makhna- its by shazia manzoor, it seems wierd but if u listen to the song its really nice

That song is Ghoonghat me chand hoga..aachal mein chandni..chupke se dekhe ge saajanko sajni- very good for daandiya but a bit old..not good if you want something modern.

Chalka Chalka re from saathiya is good for dancin too.
OR maybe bhumroo for daandiya aswell or u could jus use a music piece from a film - like in bride and prejudice tht looks really good- its more a gujarati thing but it does look lovely if theres lots of you and everyone is co ordinated.
