Which news channels or newspapers (Pakistani or otherwise) do you trust to not be biased and always provide truthful information?

Dawn had an excellent news channel until they decided to go urdu, at which point I stopped watching. Their newspaper is also the least biased. I never watch the news here though, all you see is the same old politicians and their petty fights, I hate all the news channels. The only news I watch is on the BBC or Al Jazeera sometimes.

I don't think there is any newspaper or news channel that is totally unbiased. I like to read/watch a range of sources. I read the Gaurdian/Independent aswell as the Daily Mail, I watch channel 4 news, BBC and Aljazeera. I feel that the more sources you read/watch the more peices of the jigsaw you have.

I love channel 4 becuase John Snow is an awesome journalist and his interviews are always intense he literally grills his opponents. 
BBC has become less reliable and the quality of reporting is good but ussually events unfold too slowly and the delivery is late.
Press TV the Iranian station might be a propaganda station but you cant fault some of the journalism is top quality and reports are backed up with very sound facts and sources.
Sky news is probably quicker off the mark than BBC but the details are often very patchy.
The Daily telegraph is probably one of the better papers, I am a fan of the Jang and Dawn news.

I've always liked the Independent, quality articles. I read the Guardian online but not as much. My favourite english language daily will always be Arab News. I grew up reading that and I think it is very unbiased (as unbiased as a newspaper can be in a kingdom) since they routinely publish criticism of Saudi laws and mutawwas (religious police). It is very anti-Israel though and I find that a lot to my liking.

@faris John Snow is really good, News night is not too bad either when old paxman is on.

I love Paxman.
However, I watched his interview with the EDL guy...I thoguht he was being pretty soft with him considering how intense he can be sometimes :/

They are still better and Samaa and Express also try to say at least once.

al-jazeera is better n a little bit of sky news.......rest is same....in pakistani......yes dawn is ok'ish......but then again they also have their 'liberalism' issues to deal with......sometimes they go to the other extreme..
but for teh lulz.......one and only.......Fux News...:D

Well Dawn seems rather reasonable, apart from that really annoying supposedly uber-cool-freethinking-liberal columnist they have, can't remember his name. His views are absolute garbage in my humble opinion. But yeah the paper is relatively good. Plus I watch Al Jazeera every now and then.
My best sources of political updates are and will always be Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert.

as i say always......pakistani media is big huge 'jerry springer'......some of its is text, some video, different channels.......but all part of this huge springer fest...
