I don’t think you NEED to trust anyone and everyone. There are different kinds of relationships and you should know your boundaries. As you become closer to people, you will find a few that you may need to trust and can trust based on instincts.

I agree with you. Though I believe human impulse is to trust (professionally and personally). Its the bad experiences that teach other person Not to trust.

i think it’s because we hope/assume that people have good intentions rather than being twisted and manipulative.

I read a quote somewhere along the lines ‘that you assume people would do what YOU would have done’. Something on those lines. ’ k jo jaisa hota hai uss ko ugla waisa hi nazar aata hai’
