How easy do you find it to place trust in someone? Do you find it easier to do it online rather than people in real life? Sometimes people find it easier to trust other people, and discuss their issues with people online, because they know that people they interact with in life won’t find those things out. But sometimes we can also be too quick to trust someone online and it can come back to bite us. I have a few online friendships which are pretty amazing, and maybe with one or two of them I’ve shared a lot with and vice versa. But with people I meet in life, it takes me much longer to build that type of relationship. How about you?

I easily trust people. Whether its online and real life.
I have suffered both financial and emotional losses because of that.

I don't think you NEED to trust anyone and everyone. There are different kinds of relationships and you should know your boundaries. As you become closer to people, you will find a few that you may need to trust and can trust based on instincts.

I agree with you. Though I believe human impulse is to trust (professionally and personally). Its the bad experiences that teach other person Not to trust.

I read a quote somewhere along the lines 'that you assume people would do what YOU would have done'. Something on those lines. ' k jo jaisa hota hai uss ko ugla waisa hi nazar aata hai'

Yes, that is absolutely true. Most people I come across I keep a barrier with. I can joke and stuff with them, but trust is a long ways away.

I am a very cautious person! But once i get comfortable with someone, i can trust them with my trust :D.
