I feel the same way…that the stage is being set for the emergence of Dajjal. I wonder how many of the major signs we actually will witness in our lifetime. And for those who have kids…they have the responsibility of preparing their kids for the end times…of strengthening the iman of their children so that they are internally able to deal with the trials of the Dajjal and the Dajjalic system. We’re living in times where it’s not just about raising your kid to be the doctor or the engineer or to be the straight A student in school or the best athlete, …or to work hard and provide your kid with every material luxury that money can buy…whilst being lax about their spiritual state. One would have to work hard to equip them with faith as well.

I do not wish to digress from the topic of this thread but, this is why the Messenger of Allah taught his Companions to seek refuge from the Fitnah of the Dajjal in prayers, after Tashhaud.

Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah (way peace be upon him) said: When any one of you utters tashahhud (in prayer) he must seek refuge with Allah from four (trials) and should thus say: “O Allah ! I seek refuge with Thee from the torment of the Hell, from the torment of the grave, from the trial of life and death and from the evil of the trial of Masih al-Dajjal" (Antichrist). *** Sahih Muslim, Book 4, Number 1217. ***
