^ just think that 60%of our budget is spent on Army,wich has latest equipments was not able to save 124 of his jawans trapped there for 3 days,theyr not able to rescue them so how can they save the nation??

If its really from his facebook page then doesn't matter who wrote it, these things basically demoralize the army and especially something coming out from a High ranking person of khyber Pakhtunkhwa government.

What is wrong with what he said? It might be a bit insensitive regarding the timing but still will need be able to question the most dominant institution in Pakistan. Obviously the Army and the pro-Army supporters will use this situation to cover themselves after a pathetic 18 months but we should remember that we should not be excusing our Generals just because lower ranks have been killed. My heart goes out to the families and friends of the deceased - as they are the ones who will be suffering.
Questions do have to be raised about what has happened. I have read previously that more soldiers die from weather related causes at Siachen than by enemy fire. We have to ask ourself - is it worth it? If so much is spent on the army then what have they got to show for it? Asfandyar is a fine one to talk as I wonder where the money he is supposed to spend on KP has disappeared too.

Pathetic shot at Army at wrong time. Just tell exactly what should we expect from him in times of need.
Lets see if Asfandyaar Wali can name one Army/force of the world (with budget like Pakistan army) which can recover its dead and/or injured before 3 days after the disaster or such scale in such conditions. His own government can not even stop non-natural desasters in very city of Peshawar for last 4 years.
US Army's budget is 100 times more than Pakistan Army and I heard even worst complains at the time or Katrina.
There is no denying that Pakistan Army's budget should be cut (in favor of education and health etc) but expecting anyone to dig out 127 people from 1km/sq and 80 ft deep snow in 3 days is plain stupidity.
