The disappearing of the shoes is a problem quiet a few times. Sometimes when I wear flip flops to the Masjid, someone who came in wearing sneakers wants to chit chat with his friends outside, instead of wearing his own shoes, they wear my shoes and I have to go get them from them :aj: When it’s dudes, it’s fine, but when it’s an uncle who has my shoes, he dares to say “can u bring me another pair of shoes?” I am not your servant :frusty2:

It’s been a while since I went to the masjid wearing flip flops. It used to happen when I used to be in school and work part time. Now I work full time and go to the downtown Islamic Center and wear no more flip flops :yahoo:

I remember the first time I was going back to Pakistan in 2001. My flight was on Saturday (I think) and I went to pray Jumma and wore my Pakistani (Service company) chappal. Someone simply took it :hayaa: I waited til everyone left the masjid, hoping if someone’s in the bathroom or standing outside, they’ll bring it back when they come to pick up their shoes, but NOOOO. I was so pissed off. I asked the Imam what do I do now and he said take any shoes from the lost and found box :smiley:

Chappals used to get stolen in Pakistan a lot :frowning:
