I think Musharraf has finally listened to the interior ministry and secular forces. I cannot confirm with some link or document but i have heard that a lot of fresh troops are being sent to Waziristan to deal with the new found Taliban threat. Government is now getting serious to crush this Taliban Militancy. How much successful they will get is still a matter or debate.

Fazular Rehman apparently has given tacit approval but his pal Qazi Hussain is calling for reinforcing the Jihadi elements. Ridiculous!

I think we should wipe out or at least defeat pro-extremist or pro-militant islamist. Pro islamist is not a term which does justice with what they are doing. The secular muslims should win this battle and not these hard core idiots.

troops movement is NOT for the government of pakistan its due to the US pressure.. and a man with very little brain can understand wat interests US MAY NOT always be in the interest of this poor nation..

I think these words "pakistan's interest" have been raped/mutilated/gang raped by all our leaders and should therefore be removed from all pakistani dictionaries..

True, army alone cannot be trusted in determining Pakistan's interest. But promoting militancy should never be in Pakistan's interest, as it will come back to hurt us like it is now.
