I had to go through that with when I was picking out a wife for myself, it is quite disgusting, something like a meat market, where a guy goes around and all virgins/chicks come out with tray and trolley for tea so you can see and sort of make adecision based on looks and what the parents tell you about her.
Very primitive. I refused, I told the mother of the girl thats fine she wants to come and push trays, thats fine but you gotta give me time to get to know her before the marriage/engagement. I am glad they agreed and I found out that the girls was not for me or better yet the girl didnt think that I was made for her, which is fine, I have been dejected, rejected, and de-selected before. Welcome to the meat market.
