A troll is a lamer/flamer/spammer on a message board. Most, if not all boards have their fair share of them, GS being no exception.

a troll could also be a person who joins an on-line group or forum for the purpose of picking up other people or "hunting" others.
There are a few groups that have more trolls than others...

Trolling is unacceptable on most if not all professional forums. Trolling is basically posting something to get a negative response. Like the thread by roman on the jewish pull out. Or say if i posted a thread on how immigrants forget their values and cultures for the sake of a green card. That would all be trolling as the idea is to inflame opinion and not have a discussion.
