Trip with Sam….

We went to Vancouver, what a beautiful city, we stayed first class with a harbour view. Took her on a boat trip to the Island. In the Suburbs there is an Indian town called Surrey, they had so many shops and plazas there and the food was incredible. Tandoori grill buffet was to die for. Sam thinks we can fly back, just for the buffet and leave in the evening, same day

There we’re these so called Gorafied entitled Sikhnis abusing the staff at the eatery, this rudeness and arrogance boils my blood.

Awesome! Great to hear that you had an enjoyable time. I've only heard good things about Vancouver. I could definitely use a mini vacation myself! I've been looking into rocky mountaineer towards Vancouver, Banff and Calgary. From what I understand is that bookings go so far out and need to be made way ahead of time. Fingers crossed!

I think Banff and Jasper are unbelievable, best to do tenting there.

Vancouvre Island has Tofino Euclelet and I feel they are the most beautiful places on earth.

Even renting motorhome would be awesome

Motorhomes sound like a good idea if you’re native to the area though. RM would be something like plane-train-hotel-plane sort of trip. What’s the best weather to visit though? Is it Summer blooms, or Winter icy magic?

Oooh, Jasper you say?

it is insane during summer, I would go right after kids go back to school. Fall is so beautiful. Jasper and Banff is all about hiking. Nearby Kananaskis is a bit more economical to stay

The highway between Jasper and Banff is unbelievable.

There is a cyclist from Leiah who has biked around the world and this thread reminded me of his following post:

At one time when I took my nieces for camping, we came across two cyclists, a German lady and Indian guy who had bicycled 1000km to Banff from Vancouver. They could not find a spot in campsite aND THERE WERE BEAR WARNINGS so sleeping outside was dangerous, these guys were not a couple but decided to ride together. The girl managed to look groomed even though she had no shelter for 3 months, she would bathe in lakes, had a tiny stove to cook in and dehydrated food she could put in hot water.

We let them stay on our site and made them amazing food. The class is that she rode in town and got us a gift.

Mrs can’t camp, so I bought a motorhome instead, and best decision ever. The new models cost upwards of 200k if you looking for luxury. As always quality never comes cheap!

I got kayak and cycle racks mounted on its back too. Literally been travelling around the country inside our own home.

The thing is around 25 foot long, can’t legally be parked in normal parking spaces. Had to get a bus license too in order to drive it due to size. Not all holiday parks allow juggernaut parking but ones that do happen to attract the right crowd if you know what I mean.

Driving around Canada’s West is a dream waiting to happen for a long time, but surely will happen.

Great clicks!

Hey @Navz missed you here, so glad to hear you enjoying married life. I see a lot of Australians and Germans rent motor homes here and drive across.

My most favourite place on earth is Tofino, we get campers from all over the world. If you plan to come, we would definitely show you around.

I will try to remember the campground name and send it to you.

It has humingus trees, down below is the most beautiful Ocean. I think it’s called Green Point.

Investing in camper is the best deal. Sam wants to buy one but I still have obligations at my first home.

My pop up tent has been insane to me. Sam never tented, got her chopping wood and tenting now

First class and a harbor view? That’s the way to do it! Taking a boat trip to the Island must have been so cool. And you discovered Surrey, the Indian town in the suburbs? That’s awesome! The shops and plazas there must have been a blast to explore, not to mention the incredible food. Tandoori grill buffet? I’m drooling already!
But man, it’s such a downer when people act entitled and rude. Those so-called ““Gorafied”” Sikhnis giving a hard time to the staff at the eatery? Not cool at all. It’s important to show respect and kindness to everyone, no matter where we are.
By the way, I’m planning to visit Vancouver too this summer, but after that, I have my eyes set on exploring Germany. If you need any tips on booking train tickets in Germany, check out DB Fahrplan (https://www.dbfahrplan.com/de/). It’s been pretty handy for me.

Shift plz, goodluck!
