Yes we did..that was the best part. I couldn't get any pictures though of the Holy Relics...photography isn't allowed and when I tried to sneak some with my phone I got yelled at by the guard lol.

It was a very humbling experience, seeing the holy relics and definately the high light of the trip

We didn’t buy any carpets or gold jewelry but I got a lot of spices and teas from the Spice Bazaar and two Turkish tea sets and a spice grinder :smiley:

Glad I found this thread!!! My sister and I are planning a trip to Turkey and want to surprise our daughters. We have been researching online and going nuts and getting excited. We have been looking into the Sultanahmet hotel ourselves and its good to know that it is in walking distance to everything. Thank you for posting this. Hugs
