Dear Travelling Experts ,

I am planning a Trip to Dubai in first Week of August.

almost 8 days trip.

can you guys suggest the best places to watch / attractions

what to do / what not to do

Go for the desert safari, it will include dinner and belly dancing as well. :wink:

Try hot air balloon flight if you fancy it.

Take a trip to Gold Souk market, preferably without your wife :stuck_out_tongue: You know the chemistry between women and gold. :smiley:

Goto top of Burj Khalifa. Try to go there at dawn or dusk when the view will be clear. The trip to its top floor costs about 100 dirham. See fountain show at the base of Burj which happens every night.

Which Desert Safari is recommended ( good and reasonable on pocket ) ?

Which Water Park is recommended ( Wild Wadi or Aquaventure ) ?

It's gonna be very hot in August though. So try to do indoor activities during the day and outdoor activities only in the late afternoon/evening.

hi I would never recommend desert safari in august, its may and today its 46 here, for desert safari october to march bus. rest browser through the threads khatti posted.

I am Stuck on this Point .

Wild Wadi / Aqua-venture / Yas World ??

Only have to choose one .

I will be staying in Dubai Mostly .

But at the same time - if i get to choose only one Of these Water Park ? Which one it should be ??

Wild Wadi....not only is it in Dubai, it is also the best. Aquaventure is more of a children's park, with less to do for adults. Plus, its in RAK, about 1.5 hours away from Dubai. Yas World is good, but again, its in Abu Dhabi, about 1 to 1.5 hours away from Dubai, depending on where you are staying.

Aqua venture is not in Atlantis ?> :confused:

Any way - The partner that we are going with have decided to go for Yas world , and we will watch around Abu Dabhi is that same day trip

My fault…I confused it with a similarly named park in RAK. Aquaventure is in Atlantis! Apologies
