When you travel for vacation, do you buy trip insurance?
What type is the best one to get? It is different if you are going overseas versus flying within the country?

Re: Trip Insurance
i think it's as important to purchase as the airfare itself because of erratic weather patterns, goofy airline cancellations and or delays. i would suggest you by an all-inclusive policy that will cover all circumstances. no insurance would cover voluntary changes in your trip.
Re: Trip Insurance
I have health insurance for travelling but mine is really cheap (£20 per year).. It covers treatment for sudden illness or accidents in most of the world inc the US + Canada..
I pay by card so I'm automatically covered if the airline cancels or messes up.. Might be different according to your own bank and where u live obviously..
Re: Trip Insurance
I would suggest buy the all inclusive one, however i wont be able to tell you exactly which one as mine is covered by my employer due to my frequent travel.
One other thing you might find helpful is your credit card company, you should call them and they sometimes have some great insurance rates as well they include things as baggage loss, trip cancellation fees etc.
