trimmer..

does trimmer make ur facial hair grow thick??
at my lasser clinic they first use a trimmer to trim of long hair..
can we use a trimmer in between the laser treatments…
i need to ask my doc too…but anyone have any experience with trimmers???
i mean if we can use a trimmer for fine facial hair…then y to have laser treatment at all other than for thick hair??

Re: trimmer..

No it shouldn't do. Shaving/trimming doesn't effect the follicle so won't change the kind of hair that follicle produces but when you shave/trim it you are cutting the hair off at it's thickest point. It will continue to grow with a thick blunt end (instead of the natural tapered end of an untouched hair) so will feel thicker.

At your Laser clinic they should actually shave the hair before treatment, trimming it is not close enough to the skin for effective treatment.

Laser also won't permanently destroy the finer hairs - so yes, it really is only for thicker hairs.

Re: trimmer..

so what is the best for facial hair removal which does not increase them in number and give a thicker look
