Reading all the threads dedicated to brothers was a pleasant surprise. mostly brothers get no lift and sisterhood is what ll ppl talk about
anyways this thread is dedicated to siblings and the fun we had and pranks we played on one another.
I still fondly recall the time I had created an alternate starwars story because I had not yet seen it, and to my kid brothers, since i was the big bro who should know..I made up a story. In hind sight my story was more fun and actionpacked than the original starwars i.e. han solo and luke skywalker were friends in real life but both had alteregos..han being darth and luke being C3PO. kinda like transformers and power rangers mixed up. and they had laser coming out of their hands and all.
My brothers ate up that story..
the funnier part is that i told them that a space ship lands late night on weekends in the field by our home and that starwars characters distribute toys. The best view of this field was visible only from a bathroom window..poor kids took turns standing on the tub to peek out the window waiting for the spaceship, all while hiding this activity from my folks. when teh spaceship did not show up the first weekend I told then its every other weekend. and they did it again not questioning me at all and only when they were caught by my dad did they tell this to anyone..needless to say I did get in trouble then.
My sister used to tell me same kinds of stuff i.e. when i move from my small school to her big school we will have tons of fun because in front of her school u can go under the pavement and there is a whole new world with all kinds of animals and butterflies and birds etc. I mean that is the sort of thinking that eventually must have resulted in the creation of mario brothers video games .. but I believed her.
share your expereinces here. I think we will all have fun accounts to share.
OMG OMG I have got this great chilhood memory that I want to share. Okay now for us (me and my shabo didi) it was way fun but for my other sister (amber baji) its an embarassing one.
Okay what baji did was she told something about me and didi to mom and we got yelled at by abu. I think we like did something stupid with her clothes. I dont remember exactly but oh well so we were really pissed at baji. I was just going through my school bag and I found this cute mickey's stiker and didi came up with a weird idea of putting it on baji's butt hahaahahaha. so we planned it out and all since baji is kinda chubby and all. so didi said that she would hold her down and I would pull down her pants and paste it on her butt hahahahahhah and we actually did IT. you should have seen baji she was sooooooooo mad at us OMG it was sooooooo funy. She went and told on us and my mom, instead of getting all mad at us even she started laughing like crazy I can still hear all of us laugh and baji cry.
IT WAS GREAT> I think I was about 9ish. sighhhhhhhh great days!
when i was in school my borther told me that dont go afer mugrib to city from village because in the way there lives a snake and bite every one who pass his way after magrib and 4 years i thought he is saying right.
When he was in medical college and i was still in school he again told me that his friend has a car and with 125 RS diesel he can drive from lahore to Karachi and three time i fought with firends that my borther's friend has a car who can cover this distance in only 125 rs.In one fight one of my friend through his knife at me.
When first time my sister came back from norway she told us that during flying pilot stop the craft in air and talk to other pilot who is going back from pak to norway on the way about the weather by plan's window.
In my case I was the one who was always at the receiving end of my older brothers pranks. (5 years my senior) he LOVED playing evil jokes and he had a nasty sense of humour
Once when I was seven he told me a story in a very serios tone and made me believe that I had been adopted!! when i tearfully confronted my parents bout it they were both surprised and they laughed and hugged me and told me it wasnt true. (years later I would get my blood tests and have them matched with my parents just to be sure ..but shhhh!)
anyway, this one time my evil brother pretended as though he was about to slip and fall from a cliff. he made me run home and call for help as he clung on to a rock (home was a mile away from this cliff edge) and i went home screaming ;helppp! helppp! someoibody help my brother!!!’ until I ruptured my vocal cords or something and i couldnt talk later for two days!!
On reaching home i turned around and saw his freckled face that was grinning back at me… he’d followed me back and seen how i had been wailing and screaming for his rescue. I wanted to kill him aftre that lol hahahahah
ah kids~ !
btw I should add, that evil older brother is now my best friend and most trustful companion and we the closest
here is one trick that my youngest bro played on me. I was sitting around watching TV or something when all of a sudden my mom storms in and gives me a lecture on how I should treat my younger brothers and haqooq al ibaad and what nots.
I was 16 then and was in constant trouble so I was not quite sure what this daant was about until I was informed that i had just beaten up my kid bro a few minutes ago and how bad it was for me to pretend as nothing had happened.
I wondered if i had short term memory loss or if i was blocking that from my mind but I could not recall actually beating up my bro that day or for that matter that month, amybe even year.
Many years later my brother admitted that he was just walkign around doing his happy go lucky thing..and ran into a door since he was looking at everything but where he was headed. He hurt himself and started crying..when my mum asked him what happened, he did not want to look like an idiot since she always lectured us on watching where we were going. The other bro was not around so I was the convenient scapegoat :)
The truth came out a decade later :D
I think since i have already been yelled at, maybe I should beat his ass now..
(translations of some words: daant = scolding. Haqooq al ibaad = rights of people)
I do remember my brother telling my sister..(cuz we wanted to open our xmas presents on xmas eve) that there isn't a Santa Claus.. Mom and Dad are Santa Claus.
She replied.. " Well, mom can't fit through the chimney:)"
LOL.
Why Santa could and mom couldn't is a mystery. (mom was pregnant)
There isn’t a single incident I can recall where I haven’t been on the receiving end. Siblings, friends, cousins, family friends…all have had their share of fun at my cost. I’m so easily fooled…
Its an interesting thread since its so much fun to know that person behind the facade of such a name as pir sahib and that he had been a kid once :D
I mean we associate some imaginary sketch, a picture, an image when we talk to people or read their posts and forget that they would have experienced all such stuff sometime in their lives.
I have never played any prank on my younger brother who is 2 yrs younger than me, besides he has always been an angry young dude.
Plus, I never had a memorable childhood and the memories aren't good or worthwhile to recall. :(
haha nice thread fraudz. im the youngest of 6 so ive been fooled a gazillion times.
anyways now i take it out on my lil nephews and neices :--)
Damia (5) believes that our garage door knows her personally and it opens and closes whenever she asks it to (thanx to the remote controller that resides in my pocket).
Here is a prank that my dad playted on his sister. Back when he was in university he lived at the residence halls and came to visit his family often. His younger sister informed him that their elder brother had brought some fruit and that they should steal them. So my dad and his sister they stole the fruit and hid somwhere and ate the fruit.
Many years later she found out that the fruit were brought by my dad anyways and not the older brother. so while she thought they were pulling a prank on their elder brother ..my dad was pulling a prank on her.
i just loved reading this thread..keep posting some more incidents..its fun to read them all.
Hehehe, here i have to agree with CareBear..i am in the same situation as her..but in the end it gives me a reason to laugh and smile on myself when i learn that i am such a fool :)
