Suna hai, jungle-on ka bhi koi qanoon hota hai
suna hai “sher” ka jab pait phar jay
to wo hamla nahi karta

Suna hai, yea hawa ke taiz jhonkay jab
darakhton ko hillatay hain
to “mena” apne ghar ko bhool kar
“kawway” ke Anndon ko apne paron main dhanp leti hai

Suna hai, ghonslay se jab
koi bacha giray to sara jungle jaag jata hai

Suna hai, koi gull ager tootay
aur saylaab A jay
kisi lakkri ke takhtay par
“gulehri”, “saanp”, “cheeta” aur “bakkri”
saath saath hote hain

Suna hai, jungle-on ka bhi koi dastoor hota hai

Khuda-e-Munsif-o-Akbar
mere is Mullk main ab
jungle ka koi dastoor naafiz kar.
