Ha ha. Anyway. Allama Iqbal is one of our national heroes. So I think it was a great idea to remind us all of people who have contributed to our society in such great ways. It helps us all to value our roots and think of how maybe we could do a little for our community.
Aap batayey, who else should we commemorate?

It was his death anniversary in April. April 21st to be exact. So GS observed a week or two.
We discussed about him, shared our contribution to him ... perhaps, tried to reflect upon in some as well and then, now trying to move on.
Glad that you reminded us again by opening this thread.
