Sir...I am not aginst all taliban...there are very moderate..fighting with Nato forces and giving them a right lesson.....
But what these jahils are destroying our society....we have ruined our society for them...and they are introducing jahil version of islam in Pakistan by force....who the hell they are to do so....killing innocent people in suicide bombing....
Well at least you agree that they are wrong in Pakistan. I can only hope that you some day see that they were doign the same in Afghanistan. Afghans have their own government in Afghanistan right now, a puppet government, but their own nonetheless. They have had two elections already, all they need to do is find solutions to whatever problems they have through the political process (although i think there is fat chance of that happening since its the same tribal animals who fought for years after the departure of Soviets). Suicide bombings are not a solution to any problems in any part of the world.
If the Mullahs and Taleban drop their guns, and practice what they "think" they preach: PEACE, I (and people like me I ams ure) will leave the Mullahs alone. It's their right to live their lives in their own ways. If they think bearded and above-ankle shalwar is the way to securing a seat in heaven, do that by all means, so long as you dont chase me with a gun telling me to do the same.

The only way mullahs and taliban can keep followers is to spread hate and incite anger to keep things interesting for their followers. If they have nobody to hate, they will lose their reason to exist.

Yeah but if the elders knew or felt that these militants these were fedral or provincial agencies, then they would have accused the govt directly, and not given a deadlline. Here they have accused the govt not of BEING the militants, but of complacency in dealing with the militants. So it doesnt appear that they believe its the govt or provincial agencies who are disquising themselves as militants...
As for Kashmir, I should suspect that most of the camps in Muzafrabad werent training people to harass their own people but fight the Indian Army in occupied Kashmir which the people of the area supported at worst and were indifferent to at best.
They have done so on many occasions in the past...But the criminal and dreadful intelligence agencies and security apparatus can do anything to protect their strategic asset even shed the blood of their citizens if mentioned in a more direct way...How did they murder Hayatullah Khan, the journalist from Waziristan...and about 140 of tribal elders of Waziristan...
Anyhow the criticism is now more open!

Yes, but assuming for a minute that the inteligence agencies are behind it, the tribal elders seem oblivous to this fact, thats obvious to you or me, otherwise they wouldnt be asking for help. Why ask for help from the same people (govt and inteligence) causing all the problems!
Either the tribal elders dont know who is behind the militancy, or they are overlooking it and trying to sleep with the enemy..
