Move civilians from the 50 to 100 miles of border with Afghanistan. These civilians can be made temporary guests in Punjab, Sindh, and Southern Balochistan. Once the things settle down, these civilians can return home.
If Pak government doesn’t take action, the result will be terrible. These civilians will be caught in cross fire between tribal criminals and armed forces.
So far civilian deaths are relatively low, because Pak army is a bit careful. However if Pak army (God Forbid) fails, NATO forces will start carpet bombing the tribal belt. Again the innocent civilians will pay a heavy price.
We have only two choices.
- We arrange and orderly transfer of civilians from the danger area.
- Do nothing, and FATA civilians will run out at their own and become internally displaced refugees.
Pakistani masses from settled areas must take care of the endangered FATA civilians.
Peace!
