Whats up with the wicket? Is it a difficult one for batsmen? With Bevan 40 of 70 and Martyn 61 of 101 and now tendulkar 4 of 25 looks like its very hard to get runs on the wicket. Anyone who is watching the game?

- Ponting was dropped by VVS Laxman at first slip on 36. Australia were 112 for 1 from 22.3 overs. Kartik was the bowler

If they had kept those catches, Australia could have been restricted to 175 or less may be..... but then that is "IF".

Aussis are right back into the game and now has upper hand. If India loses one more wicket tail will be reveled and I am afraid they are not capable of getting 100+ runs unless Zaher Khan or Agarkar or Harbajan comes up with Heroics.

Yes, the Calcutta pitch is not an easy one. The average first innings scores are 235. The average second innings scores are 188, so that should tell you how difficult it is to chase 200. The ball starts turning sharply, and it keeps low at odd times.
