Triangular Series (AUS-IND-NZ)

India main to theek hain batsmen ko thoda khelne ka mauka milega..but I fear for their balls in Australia - with McGrath, Lee and Gillespie in full force - they will be banging these fellows on those bouncy pitches left right and center...

  347/2

8.4 Williams to Sehwag, no run, short ball banged in, Sehwag ducks, he
won't do that for long though. How long before he goes for a big
hit?

For India to have any chanes to win, they need big innings from these 2 people. Both of them have the skill required play fast.

9.2 Kasprowicz to Sehwag, no run, good length ball, just outside the
off, Sehwag drives away from the body and the edge goes straight
to Hayden at first slip and he floors the chance! Amazing to see
someone as good a fielder as Hayden dropping a simple chance

Sehwag getting extremely Lucky! This could be a big miss for the Aussies.

End of over 10 (4 runs) India 46/0 (RR: 4.60 RRR: 302/40 = 7.55)

V Sehwag 9* (27b) SR Tendulkar 29* (34b 5x4)

What a man slaughter by Australia. Ghilchrist played his usual game but look at ponting 7 sixes

Right now India is 42/0. Good thing is that they have yet to lose a wicket but they are scoring at 4.5 R/O and required rate is now 7.52. No matter how many wickets you save once you have that rate over 9/10 its very hard to bring it down and you lose wickets too quickly. Luckily for India Tendulkar seems to be in his touch and is still on the wicket I am not sure if Sehwag has been ASKED to play slow (8 of 26 balls) or he is having trouble in facing the bowling. Anyone who is watching the game?

^^ Sehwag was badly out of form why would Ganguly ask him to play slowly when thy are chasing 348??

Well now indians are 92-0 in 15 overs so the rate has picked up and so has Sehwag.

347/2 in 50 overs and 92/0 in 15 overs… must be some game to watch :k:

India 127/1

Am going home, to watch the rest…Could be interesting…

India 142/1 off 24 overs.

Tendulkar 81 off 76 deliveries. Could be a very interesting match if tendi stays.

RR of 8 per over is bit high at the moment and one wicket down and India will be under pressure. Keeping such a high rquired RR is very difficult. But then India has the batting to do it.

Banging in Bangalore

I wonder why do tri-nation tournaments involve Australia in the qualifying stage. The other two teams should play three matches with eachother and the winner gets a banging from the Aussies in the Final.

Keep it simple, folks.

Fall begins. India loses Laxman 148/2 in 25.3 overs

India need 182 runs from 132 balls. Tall order.

Gangs hit three consecutive 4's.

28.6 Harvey to Tendulkar, OUT: got'em! good length delivery, pitched
outside the off stump and angling in, ball kept low and skids
through, beats the bat and rearranges the wood work, big wicket

India 185/3 (31.0 ov)

Need 163 runs off 114 balls.

Ganguly takes over the hitting job as Tendulkar lost his wicket.

But Rahul will likely equalize the pace of Ganguly to lower the Indian RR.

35.5 Symonds to Ganguly, OUT: just short of a length and outside the
off, Ganguly plays an ambitious slash and the ball goes down Andy
Bichel's throat on the third man fence! Symonds takes a vital
wicket!

India 217/4

Need 131 runs off 84 balls.

35.5 Symonds to Ganguly, OUT: just short of a length and outside the
off, Ganguly plays an ambitious slash and the ball goes down Andy
Bichel's throat on the third man fence! Symonds takes a vital
wicket!

Seems like Ganguly was trying to finish it off before the 40th over and doing so he loses his wicket. Now go back to pavillion and curse.

Now that Ganguly is gone, it will be tougher to get to the target. Good fighting from both sides so far :k:

Australia 347/2 (50 ov)
India 254/5 (40.4 ov)

India RR: 6.25
Required RR: 10.07

Dravid also gone.

40.4 Kasprowicz to Dravid, OUT: short ball, Dravid cuts but takes the
bottom of the ball out, severe back spin on the ball as it bobs
back to the bowler, Kasprowicz dives full length and takes a
fantastic catch!

Maybe Kaif will hit a massive 90 runs.
