need some prices on this thing, dont want to get it from at&T/cingular. need one that will work with at&T service or is unlocked so i can just use my sim card.

Don't waste your money on this TREO unit... pay a little more and get yourself either the Sony P900 or P910i. Whichever of these two you go for, it will be the last phone you will buy for at least the next 2-3 years.

i-mate is da best buy around. It has everything that P910 & P910i has, including a lot more...this is da BEST buy if ur looking for a PDA with a phone. Words of wisdom, dont go 4 treo, u'll be crying at da reception later on.
It would help to know which model of treo?300 series is the only model not offered in GSM.I have had the treo 600..which i bought of ebay for about $300 brand new.It was locked for att..but i had no trouble finding unlock codes for it online.After that i just popped my tmobile sim in it and was all set.I am extremely happy with it...the broadest available software thanks to palm,great sound quality and reception,decent battery life.The only con is the onboard camera is of very poor quality.
thanks mon, who cares about the camera anyways. too bad the friggin treo 650 for gsm will not be out until january otherwise I would have bought that. I have to buy thiss thing by dec 31st so I can expense it in this year's budget at work, have money to spend.

thank you, i had been looking at ebay and finally got one. so far I am very happy with the phone, although I have not downloaded some of the apps I had on my old palm PDA.
