Well, beaded over sized necklaces seem to be in. Haven’t seen them on local females but the celebs are flaunting them everywhere. Someone also said that she might consider ‘bib necklaces’ as gifts for her bridesmaids (desi ones, too).
Not too crazy about them, though.
What do you think? Is that a good option? Would they look good with desi formal wear?

Me neither. Small, delicate chokers are nice. I prefer more simple jewelry.

They're hot! the ones posted above are pretty hideous but bib necklaces by vera wang and ranjana khan are HOT!

I think they look veryyy pretty with plain suits that have very little embroidery on them.
I like! They are absolutely beautiful! I think it’s a fab option. If you get the right piece for your formal desi wear, it will look great! =-)
hot! i think it looks nice if you can pair it with the right outfit.
some of the others are a little too much! lol
I like them but i feel like desi clothes are often too overpowering to be paired with simple bold designs like these necklaces. Just like how desi jewelry is too overpowering to go w/ western clothes. I guess we just like to explode with patterns and embroidery whenever we deck ourselves out :D
Not a fan of the bibs though. The nice looking ones are probably super expensive, and if you get the cheaper ones they lack the statement.

it's been in for awhile now but i hear the bibb necklace trend is soon to hit desi clothing and that will be the new shirt style.
