Treating anaemia naturally

Is it possible to do so without iron supplements?

Is so, what kind of foods would you recommend for someone who is anaemic?

try beetroot n strawberry juice, i did n it helped a bit

palak ,green vegetables.

purple grapes are rich in iron.
i even read doing yoga helps with anemic patient.

I think it depends what kind of anaemic you are. Plus if your haemoglobin level is very low I really doubt that the natural way will work, because the iron from the food is somewhat low and so is the absorption.

Vitamin C enhances iron absorption by the body. So whether you take iron rich foods or iron supplements, you should also have foods rich in Vitamin C or the supplement.

if anemia is severe, then you have to take iron supplements.

meanwhile, eat organ meat, especially liver, spinach, apples. google iron rich foods to get a complete list. avoid caffiene and "basic" foods as they don't absorb the iron that well, and as kikoy said, acid helps absorb, so eat citric foods like oranges, strawberries, as well as okra and tomatoes.
