Treadmills are among the best and easiest to use excercise machines.
If your using it to build up cardio and endurance levels then it’s a firts rate piece of equipment. It aids fat loss and is superb for many types of body shape.
Try it on a slower speed setting and if you can alter the gradient to a slight incline… this will aid most in fat loss.
You need not set it at 13.5kmh or 7.24 mph if thats too fast for you, even a mere 6kmh with a 0.5 incline is good enough at 20min bursts for fat loss.
Some machines come with heart rate monitors so you can match speed with heart rate and see how good your fitness really is.
That said treadmills are great, but if like me you dont have direct access to one, theres nothing better than a nice stroll or a decent run around town.
I can go up to 7mph n 5/6 incline bt its just not an excercise i enjoy doing :(. And i can do till 15 mins bt beyond that it drags I have done 30/40 mins b4 bt just detest it.
