if i do go back to the uk for delivery of my 2nd child, my first one will be 1 year and 5 months old. do airlines allow ` adult and 2 infants? im thinking of going by PIA as its direct…anyone know?

Wmen travel with twins that are both infants.. And ive seen plent of women with very younf kids and babies travelling all by themselves.. Its hard but not something thats not allowed. Infact, u can get special treatment by the crew. I did with just one kid, imagine the goodness with 2!!!

just have a look on PIA website for terms and conditons of travel. but i doubt there will be an issue as iv seen plenty of women with children under 2 travelling. its definately hard

Some airlines,like Emirates (I think it is is Emirates) do not allow two very young children with one adult.They just do not issue a ticket.It is mostly the case with the expensive airlines and especially if you are traveling business class.
PIA should allow,I think.

Dont worry. All PIA air-hostesses are at least nani/dadi (if not per-nani/per-dadi) so they will take good care of you.

NO, one infant is allowed per an adult fare at 10% of the fare paid. babies are NOT given a seat so the adult has to put the baby in his/her lap...i'm sure you can't put 2 babies in your lap...if you can, you may be able to travel :D [no, you will not be allowed 2 under 2 with 1 adult fare] However, if you pay the fare for one of the babies, you can travel with 2 ... the fare will be same as the adult fare.

PIA is great to fly with kids, I've seen their staff warming milk/water for babies and other aunties who are travelling alone taking care of one child whilst the mother tends to the other and even rocking them to sleep

Since an infant under 2 is considered a "lap child", you're only allowed one child per adult, but if you pay for a separate seat (buy a child's fare), it should be ok.

there is no such thing as a 'child fare' anymore. it's infant fare @10% of the adult fare [one infant per adult]. if the child is over 2 years of age, an adult fare has to be purchased. they sell seats now...price for a seat needs to eb paid. 'child fare' is a thing of the past, unfortunately! :)

I just returned from a trip to Pakistan last month, paying a child's fare (75%) for my daughter.
What you're saying is only true for domestic flights... (at least within Canada.)

i think none of the western airlines offer that fare...may be a selected few airlines on a selected few routes still offer to attract a certain segment of travelers...like, PIA to Paksitan.

I've flown to Europe (from Canada) on Air Canada, paying a child's fare. I've flown to Australia (on United) paying a child's fare. As far as I know, all international routes still offer a child's fare.
