Pakistani visit/visa is not a problem, per se. Many of my friends have went and returned from Pakistan. However, it depends on your name, and whether it matches with the list of terrorists that they cross-check against.
Generally, if you have a fairly common name, it may just match in that list, and then they will take you for further checking. The additional checking will be done in about 1-2 hours. If you are not the person they are looking for, then you will be let go. Otherwise, its really bad news. Although chances are that if your name matches with the terrorist list, they will not allow you to fly into US anyway.
