to Guppies in Pak:
I want to buy some electronics regarding Sat-reception, decoding software/hardware … where to get all this stuff in Lahore ???
As i’m planning only to stay 8 days i need a prepaid card for mobile … which is cheaper ??? Mobilink or U-Fone ???
I’ve a Sonyericsson Z600 … can i send pic’s to my relatives/friends in Germany or are the Networks not able for this???
Don't know about the shopping stuff, but the emailing of the pics would depend on your current phone company. If you have a GSM line you might be able to turn on the international roaming feature. I use T-Mobile, who has a partnership with Mobilink and i was able to use my phone, SMS and emailing too with my phone.

I've a Vodafone-Germany plan but as i called them they told me they don't offer roaming in Pakistan ...... so i'l need a local SIM of Mobilink or U-Fone ..... My brother has a T-Mobile Plan and i'm thinking to his SIM as i'll use it only for SMS and maybe for MMS if possible
Therez nothing much to really choose between these two companies as far as prepaid cards are concerned...tariffs are almost the same. Ufone though offers Multimedia Messaging Service (MMS) which you'll need if you need to send across pics and all. Mobilink still doesn't offer it.
good luck
Perhaps some one will be able to guide you better but as far as I know
