Well most tourist spots are in places you shouldn’t have trouble in. Just be vigilant with your belongings no matter where you are.
Avoid travelling late night if you can, I’ve been involved in serious physical confrontations and arrested three times in one year on Brixton Hill and Streatham Hill, I’ve even had a gun pulled on me but maybe that was just my bad luck. Have been in some rough situations around Lewisham, Tooting and Kingston. And these places are regarded safe during the day. Just be sensible with your travelling habits and how you behave.
- Travel during the day unless you’re around major tourist attractions in which case evenings are totally alright
- Be vigilant and protect your belongings and keep them hidden from sight while on public transport
- Travel in a group, it will put off any potential risks to do with getting attacked/mugged or whatever
