Hey ladies! I am going overseas to Pakistan next month with the hubby and am very excited. Have not been in ten years! Okay, so here is the question..I want to take my 120 eyeshadow palette with me but how do I pack it? Is it allowed in my purse to take on the plane with me? If yes, that would be awesome as I could take care of it myself. if not, how should I pack it so that individual colors don’t break or get ruined? I can’t afford to replace it if anything happens because I promised myself I wouldn’t by new makeup for another year or two..do the people at the airport inspect makeup? Will they unwrap it and examine it. I need to know what to do soon. I leave on the first. Thanks!

yep bubble wrap works a treat, or put it in your hand luggage. they wont say anything.

I was thinking of bubble wrapping it..so they will let me hand carry it? Whew, I was thinking they might not. Can I just pick up some free bubble wrap at a post office? I don't want to have to spend any more money because we bought lots of frikkin gifts for the whole mohala where my husbands fam lives as his sister requested it..You ladies are great. thankyou so much for the quick replies..

Yes, you should be able to pick up bubble wrap quite easily from any large store (eg electrical outlets , where the tvs might arrive wrapped in it) or good Supermarkets-they will normally give it to you free.

I think these days you still have to put cosmetics, sprays etc. (via hand luggage) in clear packets. So as long as the airport crew can still see through the bubble wrap, I think you should be fine!
