Re: Traveling to pakistan in january

i am going back to my real place after just five months but it seems as if it has been a year, the reason being that the place i live now gives me no social atmosphere. i would rather say that the peolpe around seem to be like LIVING DEAD BODIES, hardly pass any smile or a positive gesture but i have to live here. i miss the people of pakistan as one hardly gets a chance to experience the hospitality of our people.
the pakistani weathers, the gool guppas, the useless hanging outs, the dinning outs, the usual phherri walas, one misses even the loadshedding out the country.

I am from the Islamabad area, and can help you out! As for eating outside, the fancy places wont be that easy on your pocket if you go with just 75K, especially if you are planning on taking someone special out for dinner ;) The problem is, over the years, all the cheap places which were really really good are now super expensive too! Like for instance, there was an ancient shop in the Saddar area that sold unique samosas, and last time I remembered going there a samosa cost Rs. 5, and in just 2-3 years its upto Rs. 30 per plate! The inflation over the last few years is seriously mind boggling and it takes a while to get adjusted to it.

targeted by what.

well ive never been much of a fancy person

so im good

i guess ill limit my city trips , and hopefully conserve enough money to make it trough

Saadia jee, savour started at Rs. 5 per plate! I still vaguely remember that! The owner used to have a thella, and look at him now! haha! I think its around Rs. 60 per plate now?

Savour is REALLY the best pallayo place ever! The in Islamabad tastes exactly the same as the original one in Pindi.
