Has anyone recently traveled from US to Pakistan via PIA? I am making reservations for my family and I want to know if having new planes improved their timeliness and air conditioning on the plane. In the past they have been late from Chicago due to mechanical troubles and their air conditioning always sucked.

service is good. make sure you get economy plus when eevr possible instead of economy. For 20 bucks extra they will treat you like you are with a decent airline instead of giving you the dubble-You-Guarra (W-11) treatment.
We always travelled in business class in PIA from middle east to PK. Next week, for the 2nd time I would be travelling to Pakistan in economy class. Last time I was too depressed to pay attention to the service. This year... I dont know... I hope it turns out to be good.

Economy class from middle east to Lahore was excellent. Im guessing the whole crew was new except for an aged staff. But the service was great. Especially the crew looked soo good. I mean so good looking. I was busy watching one of the members :love: or out of the window

Oh yes I must say the service was EXCELLENT!!! I felt like I was travelling in business class.

My experience 2 years ago wasn't all that pleasant - lost luggage never recovered, the chicken biryani being served every 4 hours, broken door delayed the flight for a good 8 hours. In short - hated it.

PIA is the way to go. All other airlines have waiting periods in either UK or UAE. Service is a matter of personal taste. I had no issues with the service, quite courteous.

PIA is the best. I have flown on every other airline, Emirates, British, Lufthansa etc. but it is the most convenient even if not the most glamorous. I had no complaints, and I was on time too.

it is not glamorous. eew. especially when u have a connecting flight from heathrow to lahor. haye

Ive taken that flight every semester, and was never late.
