Hey there everyone. I am going to Houston tomorrow for my friends wedding and wanted to revise some of the traveling rules. What can come with me in my carry on (luggage/purse?) I want to travel with my purse with makeup in it and perhaps my hairbrush and perfume and then with a box of mittai specially for my friend when she picks me from the airport. Are those items I mentioned permitted? I know travel rules have become tight since 9/11 hence I am asking. If I take my makeup I know it has to be in a see through zip lock bag right and only 3 ounces of each and any liquid? Oh and I wanted to bring two pairs of shoes with me in a bag ( 1 pair I will change into as we are going straight to a function and the other shoes my friend left when she visited.) Both are heels. I can’t add them to my suitcase as the limit is only 50 lbs and I have gotten there already. Any other rules I should be aware of? Thanks guppers.

as lnog as shoes fit in ur bag they shudn't be a problem
i brought all my makeup along in my handbag and it wasn't a problem....whenever i travelled, they just ask do u have any of these liquids and i say no (cz i dont)... food shouldn't be an issue either, i managed to keep some snacks in my handbag.
