everyone goes through the same security at the airport, so hijacking threat is the same for PIA vs other ME airlines.

That said, I should have been more specific in my OP. By “safe” I just meant general condition of aircrafts and past experience of any accident/mishaps. Now I have my eyes set on Emirate. Thing is im flying from Chicago, so for me to take Emirates, I first have to connect at JFK (Newyork). Ethiad/PIA both go directly from Chicago.

So is the premium of flying with Emirates worth the extra hassle of flying to JFK first?

In that case, PIA/Etihad is best option for you.

I like emirates/qatar because they directly flown from here.

I dont agree with KKF opinion.
