My baby is 7 months and i am planning to take her to pakistan for the first time.
what travel documents does she need? Can i add her to my passport or does she need her own? Also, does she need a visa? or a Nicop card?
all of these documents require picture and signiture … how do you do that for a 7 month old??

yes she needs a passport, babies stopped travelling under their mothers passport in 1998, and now they have strict child abduction laws, so passport is a must and yes you need pics etc...it can be done, just ask them.
by the way im talking about uk law, however im sure this applies worldwide.
you do need a separate passport for your baby, and also need to get passport pictures taken, along with pictures for a pakistani VISA application. Most picture places can do baby passport pictures, and the passport office is usually a little lenient towards babies in their pictures, because they know its hard to get a proper picture of babies. However, make sure you read all the guidelines for passport pictures for babies, because they have guidelines for them as well. All the documents must have pictures, but they wont take a signature, because obviously the baby cant sign for themselves.

Is the nicop card the same/similar to the overseas Pakistani card? If your baby is eligable it will save on visa fees etc. Our baby qualifies as my husband is a Pakistani national.
