I find the travel and tourism section a bit weird. Too many sub-forums based on cities have been created and a lot of them are quite dormant. Its not at all user friendly and one has to enter all of these sub-forums to see if anything worth replying to. There is a lot of inning and outing and for no reason mostly too.

Why dont they recreate the layout to something like this 3 forums:-

  1. tourism in pakistan - articles, experiences
  2. tourism internationally - articles, experiences etc
  3. information needed where people ask queries about any desination

What do others thin?

Also the articles disappear quickly as there is too much room taken by the dormant sub-forums

Good suggestions thejoke.

Regional forums were started based on a demand from guppies who wanted a section for their cities and what not. GS layout is not very rigid and in the next face lift, we will be able to remove/add/shift some forums to make the experience more user friendly for the members. During that time, I will keep your suggestion in mind. :)

Yes i agree too, consolidate the sub-forums !

It just does not make sense to have a few people demand ther own sub forums. Can you imagine what would happen if the forum got more diverse? I know some forum members are very active but theres far too many cities in the world!

I love using and posting in the travel and tourism sections but this current lay out is a bit confusing and off putting.

I hope the face lift comes soon!
