E-Ticket Zindabad:)
Re: …Travel Agents…
Lekin kahan sey letey ho e-tickets
I am having a hard time with this flight center website.
Re: …Travel Agents…
Omg..I have had the worst experience with them…There was this travel agent when I was trying to book a flight last year…I called..talked to him…okay if its dese dudes I talk to them in English…they act more proffesional…(which btw didnt help that much this time)…so ok After he got my information >..he heard that I am going to Pakistan..he was like do u talk in Urdu..so then we talked in Urdu…
After that conversation, he was like Lahore …so all of a sudden he starts yapping in Punjabi …thinking I sould keep the pace..which I didnt(my punjabi suck big time, and I would evn though it wasnt)…Anyway…he started in Urdu again…and these r like conversations over 2-3 days …one time he was like"Tum"…bachoinn ke sath kaise Dubai ke airport mein raho gi…??..wat the heck
I was sooo mad at him…he was trying to act overly frank by now…one time he called me on my phone like way in the morning..I didnt know that this was his number(btw I was looking for a flight like any day even like tomorrow)…and I tried talking to as many travel agents as possible… But as I was saying his wife answered the phone saying that this is his home number..and tried acting all suspicious and stuff..that was so gross:grumpy: …long estory short..I told my husband to deal with it…omg I am never going to talk to these freakin travel agents:grumpy: ![]()
Re: …Travel Agents…
yar their prices are way too much inflated ![]()
or am I clicking anything else - or selcting the wrong options ![]()
They are quoting ONE WAY fare equal to what I get for RETURN FARE
Re: …Travel Agents…
James chachu you are right, isiliye we went to those agents hoping we would get decent prices. If you book them yourself using flight search engines, you end up paying a lot more.
Amber11 I agree with the English thing. Desi agents are so geeky. If you talk to them in Urdu, they start talking to you in English thinking you are some kind of paindoo. If you talk to them in English, phir apni auqaat par aa jaatey hain ![]()
Re: ...Travel Agents...
but isnt that stupid ?
they save cost if we buy tickets off the web
No paper work, no administration fee....
Please elaborate more
Re: ...Travel Agents...
You would THINK that..........you are using logic..............they aren't.
Re: …Travel Agents…
what a rip off ![]()
Re: ...Travel Agents...
Think of how much PIA would save if they did an online reservation system even for international flights. Save millions on commission that they pay to travel agents and pay a few thousands to the programmers who'd maintain their system.
Re: ...Travel Agents...
who is stopping them
Re: ...Travel Agents...
I have no idea. They probably want to give their customers hard time as usual :D
Re: ...Travel Agents...
Shikra
the only problem with that E ticket was that nowhere
on that piece of paper did it use the word ticket. :D
Instead it said receipt/invoice. So that's what we thought it was.
Re: ...Travel Agents...
And you got it from the travel agent or went to some website to get it?
Re: ...Travel Agents...
The travel agent. :D
Re: …Travel Agents…
Lets see what we get, WHEN we get it ![]()
Re: ...Travel Agents...
^Good luck and do let me know what it looks like.
I am curious to know. :)
Re: …Travel Agents…
I will.
Waisay samajh nahi aati desi logon ka kia jaye gaa agar 2 minute nikaal kar araam sey baat kar letey hain
But then again, I guess some desis bother them so much, that’s why they show them attitude, but give good customer service to those who are not annoying ![]()
Re: ...Travel Agents...
Tickets arrived, finally. They are not traditional tickets (handwritten). They are printed, kind of like boarding passes. I don't think they are e-tickets? because normally e-tickets are just a piece of paper with a confirmation number and timing on it.
Re: ...Travel Agents...
As soon as they privatise PIA things will improve!
