Hi all,
I am planning to travel from Montreal to Faisalabad but there is no such connection provided by the travel agents so I am thinking to purchase separate tickets Montreal to Dubai and then Dubai to Faisalabad. But I am not sure weather it is feasible and economical. Also do I need a visa for U.A.E to travel like this I am not planning to go outside the airport because the time difference between the flight arrival and departure is around 4 hours. Will I face any problem at Dubai airport or in pakistan on traveling back with separate ticket one is from faisalabad to Dubai and the other is from Dubai to Montreal. Also any idea how much I have to pay from Dubai to Faisalabad(return) I have B.A. rates for dubai i.e CAD$1398.Any guppy have an experience like this or any adivce regarding this.Specially I need comments from the guppies who travel frequently or from professional in the field of travel & tourism.
Re: Travel Advice
Sorry but I've never done that before. I just get my ticket from Chicago-to-Lahore with only one stop which is Manchester Airport (45 minutes). :(
Re: Travel Advice
newguy if u have a hotel booking in Dubai (& over 8 hours stay) u will be given visa at the desk. Make sure u ask the travel agent that airline should provide u the hotel if ur stay in Dubai is more than 8 hours. Carry the hotel booking receipt with you.
You may not find a direct flight from dubai to Faisalabad, travel to Lahore in that case.
Re: Travel Advice
If u have long stays in Dubai each way they would only give you a hotel stay on one side. The other side is airport chairs. I once spent 12 hrs at the Dubai airport for 12 hrs, that was 5 yrs ago.
