I can see the charm in getting earthy pictures done, but you don't need to ruin a good dress in the process. Get a cheap lehnga from one of the bano bazaars and go ahead knock yourself out. Man, we're desi! We HAVE to re-wear our wedding outfits on our brother's shaadis and our frenemies weddings! It's just the way it is. And seriously, if you hate your dress that much, give it to a poor girl. It could be her dream come true.
